Dunlin Migration

West of Edison and south of the Samish Island road Dunlins rest after a flight that started on the north slope of Alaska.

Local Hawks and Falcons buzz the Dunlins that react with a defensive flight twisting, turning, and alternately flashing their grey and tan backs and their white underwings and bellies.
