Celebrate Earth Day on Blanchard Mountain and while hiking, learn way more than you thought possible about the geology of Oyster Dome, including metamorphism, the curious "stilpnomelane" mineral outcrop, and the giant talus heap beneath a 300-foot cliff. Expect about 4 to 6 miles round trip and 800-feet of elevation gain, including some steep sections. 9:00 am start. $10 donation requested.
